BRUSSELS SPROUTS INGREDIENTS
- Half a kg of Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 1 carrot
- 2 small onions
- Half a tea glass of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Half a lemon's juice
HOW TO COOK BRUSSELS SPROUTS?
- Add the sunflower oil into a pot. Turn on the stove and let the oil heat up.
- Add the Brussels sprouts to the pot and start sautéing.
- Sauté the Brussels sprouts until they have a browned appearance. Then, remove them from the pot.
- Immediately add the diced onions to the pot. Add the carrots and sauté well.
- Add the Brussels sprouts back into the pot.
- Add the tomato sauce and olive oil on top.
- Let it sit on low heat for 5 minutes. Do not forget to close the lid.
- Add the water, turn up the heat, and let it boil.
- After it boils, you can drain the water and transfer it to a serving plate.
- Those who wish can serve it by squeezing lemon juice on top.
