BRUSSELS SPROUTS INGREDIENTS

  • Half a kg of Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 small onions
  • Half a tea glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Half a lemon's juice

HOW TO COOK BRUSSELS SPROUTS?

  • Add the sunflower oil into a pot. Turn on the stove and let the oil heat up.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts to the pot and start sautéing.
  • Sauté the Brussels sprouts until they have a browned appearance. Then, remove them from the pot.
  • Immediately add the diced onions to the pot. Add the carrots and sauté well.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts back into the pot.
  • Add the tomato sauce and olive oil on top.
  • Let it sit on low heat for 5 minutes. Do not forget to close the lid.
  • Add the water, turn up the heat, and let it boil.
  • After it boils, you can drain the water and transfer it to a serving plate.
  • Those who wish can serve it by squeezing lemon juice on top.
