The native land of this plant is unknown, and it is widely grown in the USA and Europe.

An herbaceous plant, Brussels sprouts look very similar to cabbage when in the seedling stage.

However, later on, its stem grows up to 60–90 cm, and large, dark green leaves with white veins grow on the ends of thick stalks along the stem.

HOW TO BOIL BRUSSELS SPROUTS?

  • Boil a pot of water and add a pinch of salt to it.
  • Wait 1-2 minutes for the water to boil.
  • Add the Brussels sprouts to the boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes until they are tender.
  • If you can easily pierce the sprouts with a fork, they are cooked.
