18 detained in Antalya prostitution and drug investigation: Muhittin Böcek and his son named in the file

In an operation conducted as part of a "prostitution" and "drug" investigation led by the Serik Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Antalya, 18 people were detained.

Teams from the Antalya Provincial Police Department and the Serik District Police Department searched 35 addresses and two boats as part of the investigation. It was reported that there are a total of 20 suspects in the file, and 18 of these individuals have been apprehended.

According to a report by the Sabah newspaper, the names of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his son, Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, also appear in the investigation file. Efforts are reportedly underway to apprehend Şemsettin Lökoğlu and Arda Tüzün.

It was learned that former executives of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and several businesspeople are also among the suspects. It was stated that the file contains statements regarding various chains of events.

It was noted that the names of Muhittin Böcek and Nur Zeliha Doğan were mentioned in accounts regarding a meeting alleged to have taken place on a boat belonging to Sezgin Köysüren. It was stated that these statements are being investigated as part of the inquiry.

It was reported that the file also contains allegations regarding drug use by Mustafa Gökhan Böcek. The judicial process regarding the investigation is ongoing.
