A new request for precautionary measures regarding Pasifik Holding executives has emerged in the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office concerning capital market transactions. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the freezing of capital market instruments held in the accounts of Pasifik Holding Chairman of the Board Fatih Erdoğan, Vice Chairman of the Board Abdulkerim Fırat, and Board Member Mehmet Erdoğan.
In the letter sent to the relevant institutions, it was requested that transactions that could reduce the assets of the three individuals be closely monitored. Transfers, sales, donations, the establishment of mortgages or pledges, account closures, high-amount cash withdrawals, and money transfers were included in this scope.

SUSPICIOUS TRANSACTIONS TO BE REPORTED TO MASAK
In the letter from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that if an unusual transaction request is made by the individuals in question, the opinion of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office must be obtained before the transaction is carried out. Furthermore, it was requested that suspicious transactions and actions that could reduce assets be reported without delay to the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) under the Law on Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime.
The letter also emphasized that during the implementation of these measures, the individuals' ordinary transactions such as salaries, bills, institutional payments, and similar activities should not be obstructed in a way that would cause grievances.
The Banks Association of Turkey, the Participation Banks Association of Turkey, and the Notaries Union of Turkey were requested to notify the relevant banks and notary offices of the letter and to report the information provided back to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
