New details continue to emerge in the fraud case where former Denizbank branch manager Seçil Erzan allegedly collected money from football players and business people under the name of the 'Fatih Terim Fund' with promises of high returns.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated a technical investigation to determine whether money was used from Fatih Terim's bank account for the 'secret fund,' and whether Terim deposited money into or received money from this fund.

It was learned that the prosecutor's office's investigation into the matter is still ongoing.

STATEMENT FROM TERIM'S LAWYERS

Following the reports in question, a new statement was issued by Fatih Terim's lawyers. The following was stated regarding the developments concerning Terim:

The legal process, which was initiated upon the complaint of our client, Mr. Fatih Terim, and in which he is a complainant, is ongoing.

The prosecutor's investigation into the bank accounts mentioned in the media reports relates to Mr. Terim's separated case file and has no connection to the

ongoing trial.
