Unlicensed weapons and ammunition were found during an operation conducted by police teams at a house in Istanbul's Bayrampaşa district. As part of the operation, 21-year-old İsmet Hüseyin D. was taken into custody.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Public Security Bureau conducted a search at an address on Mehmetçik Street in the İsmetpaşa neighborhood during the morning hours.
During the search, 3 unlicensed pistols, 2 shotguns, 49 rounds of ammunition, and 46 shotgun cartridges were seized. The weapons and ammunition were confiscated by police teams.
The detained suspect, İsmet Hüseyin D., was taken to the Bayrampaşa Police Station for processing. The suspect is expected to be referred to the courthouse following the completion of police procedures.
