The 300-year-old 'Adarok' tradition, which celebrates the arrival of spring in Şırnak, continued this year. Hundreds of people participated in the event, where traditional dances were performed and food was distributed.
In the town of Balveren in Şırnak, the 'Adarok' event is held every year in mid-March to celebrate the arrival of spring.
The tradition, which has been ongoing for 300 years, remained unchanged this year.
Due to the approaching month of Ramadan, the celebrations were held earlier this year.
The event, which began in the early hours of the morning, featured colorful scenes. Participants in the event wore traditional clothing, played various games, and joined in traditional halay dances.
