The photos, created by an unknown person or persons, featured computer-generated topless poses of Swift.
PHOTOS WERE NOT REMOVED
The fact that the images, which were published on the social media platform X, owned by entrepreneur Elon Musk, were not removed for a long time drew backlash.
Swift's numerous fans stated that despite reporting the photos to the relevant authorities, the images remained visible for hours.
Swift's fans said, "The images remained online for 19 hours and some were viewed more than 50 million times."
