Denizli Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, as part of their efforts to apprehend wanted individuals, identified the address where İsmail E. (38), who had an 18-year and 6-month prison sentence for "Drug Manufacturing and Trafficking" and "Escape of a Convict or Detainee," was hiding.

Hiding in an apartment on the 5th floor of a 6-story building, İsmail E. saw the vehicles of the JASAT teams—the gendarmerie's detectives—arriving and attempted to climb down from the 5th floor using approximately 15 meters of bedsheets he had tied together and hung from the balcony.

APPREHENDED ON THE SPOT

After falling to the concrete ground while descending, İsmail E. broke his right leg. Despite the pain, he attempted to flee but was apprehended on the spot by JASAT detectives.

The convicted dealer was transported by ambulance to Server Gazi Hospital and was discharged following his treatment.

İsmail E., who was transported by gendarmerie teams in a wheelchair and had to be helped into the vehicle by the officers, was arrested by the judicial authorities and sent to prison.
