Laçin announced the death of her dog, Tonton, on her social media account.
Berna Laçin shared the pain she is experiencing with these words:
“How difficult it is to lose a dear friend you have lived with for many years…
I know there are so many sorrows in the world, but I cannot help it; this is my own pain, and it hurts so much right now. This unexpected farewell burns deeply.
Rest in peace, my bead-eyed one.”
Laçin also shared the following on her Instagram account:
“I thank you for the 9 beautiful years
to which you added happiness in every second; from this early farewell,
a deep void is what remains for me now, rest in peace, my bead-eyed love #Tonton”
