Sırma stated, "Dilan's life consists only of Engin. When we were 17, she was sniffing Engin's socks. Her saying 'my husband, my husband' is not a show, it's real. Perhaps it was due to a lack of affection in her family. She has a bond that we cannot call love, but rather an obsession," she said.

Touching upon Dilan Polat saying 'I want to commit suicide' in prison, Sırma said, "Dilan had a suicide attempt in her youth as well. I think it is related to the loss of her mother. When my mother went down for grocery shopping, they said Dilan was 'on top of the building.' My mother took her from there and brought her to our house. We calmed her down and continued the process like that," she explained.

'CAT AND DOG SITUATION'

Describing the relationship between Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu, the lawyer said, "Sıla and Dilan might be best friends in front of the screen, but it is not like that behind the cameras. There is a cat-and-dog situation."

'THERE IS NO SITUATION REQUIRING RELEASE'

Özgecan Sırma, who is also a lawyer, said the following regarding the Polat file:

"There is nothing in this file that would require release at the first hearing. I do not expect an easy release either. 'Opposition to the Tax Procedure Law' is not something you can get away with by saying 'if there is a penalty, we will pay it.' The focus should be on what this money is; is it from Georgia? Drugs? Prostitution? What is it?"
