Court imposes 1-month gag order on Deniz Akkaya
Model and presenter Deniz Akkaya recently targeted Miray İpekler on her social media account, alleging that she sent inappropriate images to people and had been with many famous names. The court has imposed a 1-month gag order on Deniz Akkaya.
Miray İpekler’s lawyer, Büçkün Canatik, who applied to the Istanbul Family Court, stated, "My client has been subjected to severe attacks by Deniz Akkaya for weeks. The client learned about these posts through close friends and people who messaged her privately asking for prices.
She even mentioned the neighborhood where the client lives and portrayed her family home as a place where escort services are provided. We request that all preventive, protective, and supportive measures be granted regarding the client," she said.
COURT FINDS MİRAY İPEKLER RIGHT
The Istanbul Family Court evaluated the request and found Miray İpekler to be in the right.
According to the report by Özge Eğrikar from Hürriyet; the court decided that Deniz Akkaya shall not engage in words or behaviors involving threats of violence, insults, humiliation, or belittlement toward İpekler for a period of 1 month, and that if she acts contrary to the decision, she will be subject to coercive imprisonment from 3 to 10 days.
