Devrim Erbil's never-before-exhibited works are set to be unveiled
Devrim Erbil's never-before-exhibited works are preparing to meet art lovers. The 'Inspirations' exhibition, which features works by the 'poet of painting' and 34 of his artist friends, will be on display from April 20 to June 30, curated by Renk Erbil and organized by Renko London.
Devrim Erbil's 'Inspirations' exhibition, created to celebrate his 60th year in art, is preparing to meet art lovers at the Istanbul Cinema Museum's temporary exhibition hall.
In addition to works produced by Erbil, a master of Turkish modern art, using various techniques such as oil painting, silk carpet, and NFT that have never been exhibited before, works by 34 esteemed artists with whom the master has walked alongside over the past 60 years will offer modern art enthusiasts a unique experience.
34 ARTISTS WILL PARTICIPATE
Renko London, the London-based creative agency founded by Renk Erbil that carries Turkish modern art beyond the era, will crown Devrim Erbil's 60th year in art with a unique exhibition featuring the participation of 34 significant artists, including his friends, mentors, and students.
As an artist who has observed the 60-year history of Istanbul, Devrim Erbil's works, in which he depicts various aspects of the city and draws inspiration from the rhythm and movement of life, will take art enthusiasts on a unique artistic journey in Istanbul.
The exhibition will also feature works by A. Cem Şahin, Aydın Ayan, Bahri Genç, Beste Alperat, Can Ayan, Celalettin Tandoğdu, Çiğdem Erbil, Emirhan Bıçakcı, Ercüment Kalmık, Eren Eyüboğlu, Ergin İnan, Erol Evgin, Esra Meral, Fethi Arda, Gülten İmamoğlu, Hanefi Yeter, Kudret Türküm, Memiş Aslan, Mustafa Pilevneli, Nezih Çavuşoğlu, Nezir Korkmaz, Renk Erbil, Sadık Altınok, Saime Taktak, Şebnem Bahar, Süleyman Saim Tekcan, Tanju Demirci, Turan Erol, Yasemin Öztürk and Zühtü Müridoğlu.
The exhibition, held in honor of Devrim Erbil's 60th year in art, will take place at the Istanbul Cinema Museum, located in a building with nearly 200 years of history on Istiklal Avenue in Beyoğlu, one of Istanbul's most important art and culture centers.
