Major blow to beauty salons following Dilan-Engin Polat case
Following the arrest of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple on charges of 'money laundering,' the allegations that emerged have dealt a blow to the beauty industry. Tolgahan Demir, President of the Chamber of Beauty Salon Operators and Artisans, stated, "Business has been cut like a razor."
Dilan-Engin Polat and other influencers who own beauty salons have been at the top of the agenda following the couple's arrest.
The arrest of the Polat couple has caused serious losses in Antalya, which ranks 4th in the beauty sector after Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
'THERE ARE TURNOVER DROPS'
President of the Chamber of Beauty Salon Operators and Artisans Tolgahan Demir stated, "There are currently serious drops in turnover in beauty salons. Turnovers were already low, and after these discussions, business has been cut like a razor.
Our citizens should continue to receive services at beauty salons; please do not leave our salons abandoned," he said.
