Engin and Dilan Polat, against whom an investigation was initiated by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for "violating the Law on Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, the Tax Procedure Law, and the Law on Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions," were detained in an operation conducted by the Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau.

Lawyer Ahmet Gün was referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest on charges of 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime,' 'violating the Tax Procedure Law,' and 'laundering assets derived from crime,' while 11 suspects, including Alper Kürşat Polat and Can Doğu, were referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest on charges of 'laundering assets derived from crime,' 'being a member of an organization established for the purpose of committing a crime,' and 'violating the Tax Procedure Law.'
