Drug investigation targeting celebrities: Decisions made for 9 individuals

A new operation was carried out this morning as part of a "drug" investigation conducted in Istanbul. Detention orders were issued for 9 celebrities as part of the investigation.

Simge Sağın, İbrahim Çelikkol, Melek Mosso, Deha Bilimlier, Mustafa Ceceli, Ersay Üner, Bengü Erden, Aslı Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu, and İlkay Şencan were detained as part of the investigation.

6 PEOPLE RELEASED

Melek Mosso, Simge Sağın, and İlkay Şencan, who provided blood and hair samples at the Council of Forensic Medicine, were referred to the courthouse.

İbrahim Çelikkol, Mustafa Ceceli, Deha Bilimlier, Ersay Üner, Aslı Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu, and Bengü Erden were released.

Among the individuals detained and referred to the courthouse as part of the "drug" investigation targeting celebrities, Simge Sağın and her partner İlkay Şencan were placed under judicial control by the judgeship they were referred to, in the form of a travel ban.

Bengü was released without any judicial control measures applied to her.

CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE STATEMENT

On the other hand, the following statement was made by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the operation in the morning hours:

"Within the scope of the investigation conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in coordination with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate regarding 'publicly known individuals' for the crimes of Purchasing, Accepting, or Possessing Drugs or Stimulants for Use, or Using Drugs or Stimulants, and Supplying Drugs or Stimulants, based on the evidence obtained, incoming reports, and information, simultaneous arrest, search, and seizure operations were carried out on 07.04.2026 in accordance with the decision taken from the Beykoz Criminal Judgeship of Peace against the suspects whose names are written below, who were determined to have participated in the alleged crimes, and the investigation is being conducted meticulously."
