Influencer and beauty center owner Ece Ronay was detained last week by the Istanbul Organized Crime Bureau for allegedly inciting the shooting of her ex-husband Mehmet Bilir's workplace.

The Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau referred Ece Ronay and the other detained suspects to the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following their interrogations at the police station.

REASON FOR ECE RONAY'S DETENTION

The Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau teams had detained Ece Ronay during a simultaneous operation regarding the shooting at a beauty salon owned by Mehmet Bilir in the Pendik district on 28.11.2023, and the shooting at an auto gallery in the Gebze district of Kocaeli on 01.12.2023, both carried out by individuals on motorcycles wearing helmets.

It was also announced that Ece Ronay's mobile phones and other digital materials were taken under examination by the Cyber Crimes Bureau.

WHO IS ECE RONAY?

Ece Ronay was born on November 17, 1991, in Diyarbakır. The 32-year-old Ronay is a graduate of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The social media influencer, who first made a name for herself with the videos and posts she published, later reached high viewership numbers with the songs she released.

Following her song "Karpuz," she made her name known to a wide audience with her song titled "Git Çatla."

Ece Ronay owns beauty centers.
