Entry to Amasra prohibited
In Amasra, Bartın, 20,000 vehicles entered the district in a single day due to the holiday break. It has been announced that new vehicle entries to the district have been temporarily prohibited.
Amasra, a district in Bartın, experienced heavy traffic during the holiday, leading to long queues of vehicles.
Amasra, which saw 20,000 entries today, has been closed to new vehicle traffic; drivers have been directed to the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK) Amasra Establishment Directorate area.
On the second day of the Ramadan Feast, vacationers flocked to the historic and touristic district of Amasra. Long queues of vehicles formed at the entrance to the district center. Police teams have closed the district to vehicle entry.
VEHICLES DIRECTED TO PARKING AREAS
Vehicles were directed to the parking areas at the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises Amasra Establishment and the Great Port (Büyük Liman) sites, school yards, and in front of the district governor's office.
Those at Amasra Castle and the Çekiciler Bazaar had difficulty walking due to the density. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, tourists walked along the beach and took photographs.
Tourists touring by excursion boats viewed Amasra Castle and Rabbit Island (Tavşan Adası) from the sea.
Hasan Özışık, a tradesman at the Amasra Çekiciler Bazaar, stated that there was extreme density due to the beautiful weather and expressed that they welcomed this situation.
