Following the accident, Vedat Milor made a statement on the social media platform X, noting that his seatbelt and the airbag protected him from potentially worse outcomes. Milor stated, "If I hadn't been wearing my seatbelt and the airbag hadn't deployed, it could have been much worse for me. My driver, Fahrettin Bey, suffered serious damage to one of his hands."
Milor also drew attention to traffic safety in our country, saying, "My purpose in writing this is to highlight a serious problem. Intersection turns in our country are very problematic and ambiguous. The person who hit us was a decent person."
