Famous influencer Ece Ronay was detained in Istanbul for allegedly inciting the shooting of her ex-husband Mehmet Bilir's workplace. Following the reports in the press, Ronay has lost nearly 100,000 followers in one month.

Influencer and beauty center owner Ece Ronay was detained last week by the Istanbul Organized Crime Bureau for allegedly inciting the shooting of her ex-husband Mehmet Bilir's workplace.
The Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau referred Ronay and the other detained suspects to the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following their questioning at the police station.
REASON FOR ECE RONAY'S DETENTION
The Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau teams had detained Ece Ronay during a simultaneous operation regarding the shooting at a beauty salon owned by Mehmet Bilir in the Pendik district on 28.11.2023, and the shooting at an auto gallery in the Gebze district of Kocaeli on 01.12.2023, both carried out by individuals on motorcycles wearing helmets.
It was also announced that Ece Ronay's mobile phones and other digital materials were taken under examination by the Cyber Crimes Bureau.
HER STATEMENT HAS EMERGED
Ece Ronay did not accept the allegations that she was the instigator of the shootings. Ronay stated that she did not even know the other 5 people who were detained along with her as part of the operation.
THE PERSON WHO GAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
On the other hand, the other suspects detained along with Ece Ronay stated that they were the ones who carried out the attack, and that they received the instructions not from Ece Ronay, but from Kaan A., who is currently abroad.
LOSS OF FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM
It has been claimed that Ece Ronay has lost nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram due to the negative news reports that have surfaced in recent weeks.
Ronay, who is going through difficult times due to the allegations against her, has 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
