Heartwarming news has arrived from the master artist, whose health status was a matter of concern.

İlhan Şeşen's manager Erman Aksoylu spoke to 12punto.

'HE DOES NOT LIKE IT VERY MUCH'

Aksoylu stated, "İlhan Şeşen's treatment is continuing in Istanbul. There is no problem for now. His condition is good. He does not like news about his illness being reflected in the press very much. That is all I have to share for now."

WHO IS İLHAN ŞEŞEN?

Born on June 18, 1948, in Manisa, İlhan Şeşen worked as a freelance lawyer for 10 years after graduating from the Faculty of Law. He began his music career in 1968 by singing in dance music orchestras and learned to play the guitar that same year. In 1971, he released a 45-rpm record titled "Kavga".

In 1983, he left his legal profession and founded the group Grup Gündoğarken with his nephews Gökhan and Burhan Şeşen. During a period when the group took a break from their work, he released his solo album titled "Aşk Haklı" in 1994.

Preparing a program for TRT titled "Gençler Haklı", Şeşen took on the production and hosting of a program titled "Arka Pencere" on a private channel in 1995.

Preparing a radio program titled "Amcam Burada", İlhan Şeşen also acted in the series "Cesur Kuşku", which was broadcast on TRT1. Bringing his second solo album "Neler Oluyor Bize" to his fans in January 2002, İlhan Şeşen achieved a major breakthrough with all the songs in the album, especially the song "Neler Oluyor Bize". After a 1.5-year break, the 'uncle' of Turkish Pop Music, İlhan Şeşen, met his fans with his new solo album "Şimdi Ben Bu Şarkıları Kime Söyleyeyim?".

During the same period, he acted in the series "Mühürlü Güller", which was being broadcast on TRT1. His fourth solo album "Aşk Yalan" took its place in music markets in May 2005. Additionally, İlhan Şeşen, who acted in the series "Aliye" which had been broadcast on ATV for two seasons, has two children named Melis and Fuat.
