Gülben Ergen, who was filmed dancing in a halay at a kindergarten opening in Adıyaman, was targeted by accounts close to the government on social media.

It was alleged that Ergen deliberately did not hold the hand of a woman wearing a headscarf. In her statement, Gülben Ergen said, "For me, people are divided into two. Good people. Bad people. Despite this statement by Ergen, Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici made remarks targeting the famous singer.
