He had passed away at 31: The title of the world's oldest dog, Bobi, has been revoked

Bobi, who lived in Portugal, was said to be 30 years and 268 days old when he was named the world's oldest by Guinness World Records last February.

He passed away in October 2023 at the age of 31 years and 165 days.

However, GWR launched an investigation last month following growing doubts regarding the dog's true age.

THEY WERE SUSPICIOUS OF HIS PAW COLORS

Although his birth was verified by the Portuguese government's pet database and the National Union of Veterinarians, doubts emerged as to whether he was truly the oldest dog ever.

Questions were raised as to why Bobi had brown paws in his later years when he had white paws in photos from his youth.

TITLE REVOKED

Guinness World Records stated that the title would be revoked until the investigation was completed.

GWR stated that there was no conclusive evidence that Bobi had lived for that long.
