Adapted from the Iranian series 'Shahrzad', 'Sen Ağlama İstanbul' had drawn attention with its strong cast. However, the series, which aired on Tuesday evenings, failed to reach expected ratings, leading the production company to make the decision to end the show.
The series' broadcast day was changed to Saturday, and it appeared before the audience for the last time with its 8th episode. The channel had hoped to re-evaluate the series' rating performance with this change. However, the desired ratings were not achieved in the final episode either.
The decision to end the series was announced to the team via a message: 'Unfortunately, our series has concluded as of the 8th episode. Thank you all for your hard work.' With this message, the series' journey on screen has come to an end.
