Journalist Uğur Dündar, in the spotlight over a paternity suit: 'I have a healthy sex life'

Journalist Uğur Dündar has been on the public agenda for a long time.

In the allegations brought forward by Duygu Nebioğlu, the daughter of actor Metin Akpınar who appeared years later, it is being discussed that the father of one of her sisters is Dündar.

Duygu Nebioğlu's sister Dilara has filed a paternity suit against the veteran journalist.

Uğur Dündar responded to the allegations that he has a child born out of wedlock during a live broadcast.

Speaking to Ece Üner on Sözcü TV, Uğur Dündar stated that the DNA reports proved that the young woman named Dilara is not his daughter.

Dündar noted that he asked a friend with whom he used to share his romantic escapades at the time about the incident, but that he did not remember such a woman either.

Dündar said the following:

"I did some research, first I found a photo of the lady who is the mother, I looked and it didn't ring any bells. I have a very close friend from 85 and 86 with whom I was inseparable, we still talk.

I asked that friend, I said, 'Brother, let's say there is a one-in-a-million chance—I wouldn't forget, I wouldn't forget a woman I had a relationship with—do you remember a woman by this name?' I said. 'Never,' he said. Because we used to tell each other about our escapades, everything.

Well, I am a single man, I have a normal, healthy sex life. There is no other side to this to talk about..."
