Known for the series Seksenler: Efe Deprem has passed away
TV, film, and theater actor Efe Deprem (42) was involved in a traffic accident in Istanbul last night. Deprem lost his life following the accident.
Efe Deprem, known for the character 'Zafer' he portrayed in the series Seksenler, was riding his motorcycle with license plate 41 ASH 753 yesterday evening around 19:30.
While traveling on the E-5 highway in the direction of Mecidiyeköy, Deprem struck the barriers approximately 300 meters before the Çağlayan metrobus station.
INTERVENTION WAS PERFORMED BUT...
The famous actor received initial medical intervention from an ambulance that arrived at the scene.
However, despite all interventions, Efe Deprem lost his life at the scene.
The following statement was made by the management agency representing the artist:
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear actor. An announcement will be made once the funeral details are finalized."
WHO IS EFE DEPREM?
Efe Deprem was born on May 12, 1982, in Istanbul. He first appeared in front of the cameras in the television series 'Sürgün Hayatlar' broadcast on TRT.
Starting his stage career with the Kenter Theater, Efe Deprem also undertook the founding of 'Ardiye Tiyatro'.
The successful actor first performed on the stage he founded with the play titled 'Geri Dönüştürülemeyenler', and during that process, he also received great support from Emre Kınay and appeared before audiences at Duru Tiyatro.
The actor, who performed for 35 weeks at Galata Perform, also took the stage at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's festival called 'Genç Günleri'.
The actor, who married Burcu Altın, had Haldun Dormen and Kandemir Konduk as witnesses at his wedding.
Having worked with master names such as Haldun Dormen and Göksel Kortay, Deprem also took part in plays such as 'Kibarlık Budalası' and 'Düşük Şehir İhtimali'.
In addition to his theater acting, he also played roles in productions such as Seksenler, Pulsar, Yer Gök Aşk, Gonca Karanfil, Veda, Badem Şekeri 2, and Aşk Oyunu.
Efe Deprem passed away on March 5, 2024.
