Law student's inability to answer legal question on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' goes viral: Asked professor for help

A student from the Ankara University Faculty of Law, who appeared on the game show Kim Milyoner Olmak İster (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire) hosted by Oktay Kaynarca, struggled to answer a legal question he encountered.

The contestant was asked, "What is the name given to each of the small sections into which legal articles are divided by line breaks?" Struggling to find the answer, the student used his phone-a-friend lifeline to ask his law professor for help, which allowed him to provide the correct answer.

The options for the question included 'motto', 'lullaby', 'fıkra' (clause), and 'fairy tale'.

The fact that the term 'fıkra' (clause), which is the correct answer, was not known by a third-year law student sparked criticism on social media.
