Merve Taşkın speaks out for the first time: 'If I were laundering money...'
Young model Merve Taşkın has responded for the first time to allegations that she is laundering money. Taşkın stated, "If I were laundering money, I wouldn't put myself in the spotlight like this."
Model Merve Taşkın was tried in recent weeks on allegations of sharing obscene content on certain foreign websites.
The court ruled for Taşkın's acquittal.
Following the acquittal, Taşkın announced that she had moved to Bali, an island in Indonesia.
'I WOULDN'T PUT MYSELF IN THE SPOTLIGHT'
The famous model, who previously made headlines with her statement, "I earn 100 thousand dollars a month, but it's not enough. My intention is to earn 1 million dollars," responded to the money laundering allegations with the following words:
"If I were laundering money, why would I say that I earn 100 thousand dollars a month? If I were laundering money, I wouldn't put myself in the spotlight. Think a little before you speak."
