Bubbles, who frequently accompanied Jackson on his travels during his lifetime, is now 40 years old and continues to live at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida.
Serving as the alpha of his group at the sanctuary, Bubbles is described as being "big and funny" while also possessing a "sweet personality."
