American singer, musician, composer, and songwriter Michael Jackson's black and white jacket, which he wore in a commercial, was sold for 306 thousand dollars at an auction held in London.

Jackson wore the jacket in a 1984 commercial he starred in for a cola company.

HIS HAT HAD FOUND A BUYER FOR 77 THOUSAND 640 EUROS

According to BBC Turkish, some memorabilia belonging to Jackson had previously been sold for thousands of dollars. Among these was a black fedora hat he wore just before performing his famous moonwalk dance for the first time. The hat was sold for 77 thousand 640 Euros at an auction in Paris in September.

More than 200 other music memorabilia items were sold alongside Jackson's jacket at the auction held in London on Friday. Among these were George Michael's jacket and a wig belonging to Amy Winehouse. Items belonging to David Bowie, Oasis, and The Beatles were also featured in the auction.

At the auction, a wig used by British singer Amy Winehouse in the 2007 music video for her song 'You Know I’m No Good' was also sold for 18 thousand 750 dollars.
