Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy: 'We are working to emphasize the importance of theater'

In a post on his X account, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that theater is one of humanity's oldest arts, where emotions, thoughts, and dreams are shared, adding that performances on stage offer unforgettable experiences to audiences and enable the sharing of common feelings, stories, and experiences when people come together.

Ersoy said, "As the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, we continue our efforts to emphasize the importance and value of theater within Turkey's rich cultural heritage. I would like to thank theater artists, the workers behind the scenes, and everyone who contributes to passing this art on to future generations".
