Müjdat Gezen: 'We would have ruined Yılmaz Erdoğan'
Müjdat Gezen spoke about Yılmaz Erdoğan, who has been in the spotlight with the series 'İnci Taneleri'. Gezen stated that they did not pass Erdoğan in his conservatory entrance exam at the time, saying, "It's a good thing we didn't accept him. Otherwise, we would have ruined him. Yılmaz created his own school."
Master artist Müjdat Gezen made statements regarding Yılmaz Erdoğan, who has returned to screens with the series 'İnci Taneleri'.
Gezen mentioned a conversation he recently had with Yılmaz Erdoğan, saying, "'Teacher, I took the conservatory exams back in the day, you didn't accept me,' he had said. It's a good thing we didn't accept him. We would have ruined you, we would have spoiled you. Yılmaz possesses a high-level intellect and writing talent. He is not someone to be bent or twisted. Yılmaz created his own school." he said.

"What is a screenplay, how is it written? What is acting? What is producing? You must look at what Yılmaz Erdoğan has done; I loved it. Health to his hands and arms," said Gezen, adding regarding the series broadcast on Kanal D, which became a trending topic on social media even before it started: "Is there anyone watching 'İnci Taneleri'? I am watching it. And with great pleasure, too..." he expressed.
