Mustafa Keser to İbrahim Tatlıses: 'There are no children in front of you'

Mustafa Keser to İbrahim Tatlıses: 'There are no children in front of you'

Mustafa Keser, who clashed with Bülent Ersoy in 2021 while hosting the program 'Benzemez Kimse Bize', had targeted the late artist Müslüm Gürses, Orhan Gencebay, and Fatih Kısaparmak last week.

Giving an interview to the newspaper Akşam, Keser had ignited new controversies with his striking statements.

Responding to Keser, İbrahim Tatlıses said, "Ask Mustafa Keser, who brought him to the stage? I was the first to bring him onto the 'İbo Show' on Kanal 6, and he took off from there. Go ahead and ask him this question. He tried to talk about me back in the day, but I took my precautions; he cannot talk. I don't like ungrateful people. He is a very good musician, I cannot deny that.

However, I consider what he said about all these artists to be insolence. He is doing this because he wants to stay on the agenda. He should know his place. I have never been ungrateful in my life. Be blind, but don't be ungrateful. I have never liked ungrateful people in my life."

'WE MUST PUT AN END TO THIS LIE'

Mustafa Keser did not remain indifferent to Tatlıses's statement.

The 79-year-old artist, who was a guest on the program 'Söylemezsem Olmaz', stated, "He has been doing this for 30 years; we must put an end to this lie. I made a record in 1978, and in the meantime, Müzeyyen (Senar) Sister said to me, 'Would you come if I put you on stage at the casino?' I became a soloist at the Pembe Köşk Casino. My first professional experience started there. Müzeyyen Sister introduced me. In 1987, I made a cassette called 'Yeşil Yeşil' that launched me, and I became known across Turkey. I achieved fame with my 'Alo' program in 1995."

'HE EVEN CAME TO MY HOUSE'

Mustafa Keser stated that he was a guest on İbrahim Tatlıses's show for the first time in 1993:

"They had us as guests along with Seda Sayan on his second or third program. 'I brought everyone out, I brought everyone out.' This has a name in psychology. He started to believe this lie himself by saying it over and over. I even participated in a few of his programs. It upset me when he said it on every program. He invited me to a program, and I didn't go, saying 'I'm sick.' He brought a doctor with him, and flowers and everything, he even came to my house. Then my wife said, 'Let it go, he came all the way here,' so I participated in the program, but he did the same thing again."

'THERE ARE NO CHILDREN IN FRONT OF YOU'

The master musician declared, "İbrahim Tatlıses has been lecturing the nation on television for 30 years as a representative of morality. If you look at his own life, I don't know if there is any consistency. The friend who talks about respect is not aware that there are no children in front of him. I am 3-5 years older than him, but as an artist, I am 300-500 times greater."
