Mustafa Sandal comments on Alper Gezeravcı's space mission: 'Space tourism will become much more accessible'
Alper Gezeravcı, who served as a fighter pilot in the Turkish Air Force for 15 years, has become the first Turkish space traveler. Singer Mustafa Sandal, known for his interest in space, said, "In the near future, space tourism will become much more accessible. My biggest dream is to go to space, face the moon, and dance to my song 'Aya Benzer' (Like the Moon)."
SpaceX broadcasted the first thoughts and feelings of the Ax-3 crew, who are currently in the Dragon capsule beginning their 36-hour journey to the International Space Station (ISS), live on its X account.

The first words of the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı from space were: "For the first manned space mission of Turkey, as the first Turk steps into space, I would like to start this moment with the words of our Great Ancestor: The brilliant words of the founder of our Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk; The future is in the skies."

'MY BIGGEST DREAM'
Singer Mustafa Sandal, known for his interest in space, stated: "One day, space tourism will become much more accessible. What costs 55 million dollars today might become 15-20 thousand dollars. My biggest dream is to go to space, face the moon, and dance to my song 'Aya Benzer' to my heart's content."
