A criminal complaint was filed with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the sisters Bahar and Nihal Candan, who draw attention with their luxurious lifestyles.
There were allegations that the Candan sisters were members of a criminal organization that defrauded many people using the "sazan sarmalı" (carp spiral) method and that they served as the organization's secret safe.
Shortly after these allegations, the Candan sisters were arrested on charges of fraud and money laundering.
