The sad news was announced by comedian Cem Yılmaz's brother Can Yılmaz on his social media account with the words: "Following the passing of our dear brother Zafer Algöz's mother 24 days ago, his father (our uncle Cevdet) passed away tonight. I can feel that the pain he is experiencing is indescribable. I offer my condolences to our brother Zafer and your family, and I wish you strength and patience to overcome these difficult days. May they rest in peace. May God have mercy on them."

'LOVERS REUNITED IN HEAVEN'

Following the loss of his parents, Zafer Algöz shared a post on his Instagram account, stating: "Our condolences. 24 days after our dear mother, we have also lost our father, Cevdet Algöz. The lovers of 65 years have reunited in heaven. We will bid farewell to our father Cekko from Balıkesir Burhaniye Koca Mosque following the noon prayer on Thursday, April 4. We will bury him in the Geriş cemetery. May those who loved him be comforted. May God grant him a place in heaven."
