Poster released for Emin Alper's first theater play 'The Double'
The poster for 'The Double' ('Öteki'), adapted and directed by Emin Alper from Dostoevsky's timeless work, has been released. The February dates for the play, which brings together Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, Erdem Şenocak, Derya Karadaş, and Gökhan Yıkılkan in its cast, have been announced.
The countdown has begun for the premiere of 'The Double', the first theater play adapted and directed by director Emin Alper from Dostoevsky’s work of the same name.
'The Double' brings together Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, Erdem Şenocak, Derya Karadaş, and Gökhan Yıkılkan in its cast. In addition to its ambitious cast, the play, which combines the stage design of Deniz Göktürk Kobanbay, the lighting design of Ahmet Sesigürgil, and the sound design of Okan Kaya, will be presented to the audience under the production of Nisan Ceren Özerten and produced by Luz Yapım.
WHAT IS THE PLOT OF THE DOUBLE?
The play, which will prompt citizens to ask what they would do if they encountered someone who looks physically identical to them but has a personality that is the exact opposite; someone who possesses the traits they hate and cannot tolerate; and who, precisely because of these traits, can reach their goals much more easily than they can; and therefore, someone whose place they might secretly wish to take, will hold its premiere on January 12 at Maximum Uniq Hall.
