The prosecutor's office has completed its investigation into the case where Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who were arrested on November 5 following an investigation into "laundering proceeds of crime, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, and violation of the law on betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions," got into a fight with their neighbors and ended up in court.

According to a report by Sabah, the prosecutor's office stated that the Istanbul Anatolian Forensic Medicine Branch Directorate issued a report indicating that the injuries sustained by their neighbor Metin A. were minor in nature. It was also noted that an investigation was conducted into Dilan Polat's sister Sıla Doğu, and that a decision of non-prosecution was issued and finalized regarding Doğu.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE HAS REACHED A DECISION

The prosecutor's office requested up to 8 years and 4 months in prison for Dilan Polat for the crimes of "insult," "injury," and "threat with more than one person," and up to 11 years and 4 months for Engin Polat, stating that he also committed the crime of "violation of residential immunity" in addition to these three offenses.

The indictment has been sent to the court.

If the court accepts the indictment, the Polat couple will appear before a judge in the coming days.
