In studies conducted in the region by nature photographer Yücel Sevingül, it was determined that 8,000 years ago, love was symbolized by figures of a man and a woman drawn side by side.

While new additions are made every day to the rock paintings first discovered in 1994 by German archaeologist Dr. Anneliese Peschlow on Mount Beşparmak, which had the ancient name Latmos, approximately 8,000-year-old rock paintings drawn on rocks were photographed during studies conducted in the Karahayıt Village Kavaklıdere region near Bafa, located between Aydın and Muğla.

It was stated that the paintings, which were drawn at that time by mixing charcoal into root dyes, have still not faded despite the approximately 8,000 years that have passed.
