Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny not forgotten at the Oscars
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who passed away last month, was also commemorated at the Oscars.
Oppenheimer left its mark on the 96th Academy Awards. However, many moments from the night were talked about just as much as the awards themselves.
One of these moments was the appearance of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny during the ceremony's In Memoriam segment.
Before honoring the figures from the film world who passed away over the past year, a clip of the Russian opposition leader was played.
