Social media influencer Alp Kılınç explained step-by-step how money is laundered on TikTok, tagging Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya on the X platform.

Kılınç stated, "TikTok will grant TikTok agency licenses to about 20 broadcasters and media firms among them. In recent months, a 1.2 billion TL 'money laundering' operation was conducted against TikTok users. Just imagine what that figure will be with this new system coming in.

Money launderers load gift coins into fake TikTok accounts. Then they send the coins as gifts to live stream users," he said, explaining what happens behind the scenes.

'UNFAIR GAIN IS BEING OBTAINED'

Continuing his remarks, Kılınç said, "Fraudsters reach agreements with both broadcasters and agencies using the extra earnings they have received from local TikTok agencies to obtain unfair gains. There are also Chinese TikTok agencies. However, because there is strict oversight on money transfers in China, money launderers work with Turkish TikTok agencies.

Turkish agencies have been operating for about 6 months. This money cycle takes place entirely between the broadcaster, the TikTok agency, and the money launderers. The state's stance here will be very important," he said.

'THEY ARE THREATENING MY FAMILY AND ME'

Kılınç, who has recently come to the fore by revealing the secrets of influencers, appealed to authorities and citizens, saying, "I need everyone's support right now. My family and I are constantly receiving threats. Even though our safety is not guaranteed, I will not stop making these posts. The more you keep these events on the agenda, the further I move away from being a target, and they won't be able to do anything to anyone."
