Veteran actress Filiz Akın has announced her health status on social media.

Akın said, "I went for a check-up the other day. Different medications were added for another 10 days. So be it, I read your prayers and wishes for my recovery. I thank you all very much, one by one. You have been a morale boost."

The actress, who was hospitalized on November 10 with complaints such as a severe cough and high fever, had previously made a statement sharing that her treatment would continue at home.

Providing information on the subject via her social media account, Akın had written the following:

"On November 10, I had to stay in the hospital that night due to complaints such as a severe cough, high fever, and symptoms similar to Covid-19. The next day, we were discharged on the condition that I strictly continue the treatment at home.

Hopefully, they will say 'You are on the road to recovery' during the check-ups today, and that is exactly what happened.... I will take medication for a little longer, but it is getting better. There is no situation to worry about at all. Thank you very much for all your well wishes and interest. You have been a morale boost to me."
