The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) continues to be a topic of public discussion regarding the series Kızıl Goncalar, which was hit with an administrative fine and a 2-episode broadcast suspension.
Özgü Namal (45), who returned to acting after a 9-year hiatus with the 'Kızıl Goncalar' series airing on Fox TV, was given a surprise birthday celebration on the set of the show the other day.
Following the celebration, the entire 'Kızıl Goncalar' team posed for a group photo.
WHAT IS THE PLOT OF KIZIL GONCALAR?
Kızıl Goncalar follows the intersecting fates of Levent (Özcan Deniz), a secular Kemalist, and Meryem (Özgü Namal), who lives within a conservative religious sect, while highlighting the unifying power of motherhood/fatherhood when it comes to "children," despite differences in belief and opinion.
The production of Kızıl Goncalar is helmed by Faruk Turgut, with the screenplay written by Şükrü Necati Şahin. The series stars Özcan Deniz and Özgü Namal.
