Teoman had stated in an interview with Günaydın, "I will donate one-quarter of my inheritance to children."

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş published a message of thanks for this gesture, stating, "I was very pleased to hear that Teoman, a valuable name in our art world, will donate a portion of his inheritance to the children under the protection of our state. I thank him for this decision, which we hope will set an example."

Teoman commented on Minister Göktaş's words as follows:

"I am happy with this comment from the Minister. Perhaps for those in my position, who have economic advantages, a path can be offered regarding helping the lower segments of society and disadvantaged communities. I believe that when a person provides a benefit to the society they love and belong to, they themselves feel a spiritual inner peace, a kind of happiness."
