According to details revealed by the MASAK report, 5 separate companies had issued fake invoices to the Polat family's companies.

One of these companies was BYZ Gün Güzellik Kozmetik İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi. It was revealed that the founding owner of this company was B. N. Gün.

'I TRANSFERRED IT IN 2022'

B. N. G., who gave her statement at the Financial Crimes Bureau, was asked, 'Do you own or are you a partner in any companies, or do you hold a management position?' B. N. G. replied to this question by stating that she founded a company under the name BYZ Gün Güzellik in 2022, saying, "This company was established to operate in the beauty sector. However, because I was a student and had to dedicate time to school, the company could not engage in any commercial activity.

Again in the same year, 2022, I transferred the company to a person I did not know, upon the instruction of Sezgin Polat and through my father, Ahmet Gün. There was no other official or owner of this company that I transferred other than myself. I do not know who the current owner or partner is," she replied.

Following this statement, the police asked B. N. G. about Sezgin Polat. They asked why Sezgin Polat wanted the company to be transferred even though he had no authority. B. N. G. replied to this question by saying, "I have no information about this matter." The aforementioned Sezgin Polat, who is currently in custody as part of the investigation, is Engin Polat's father.

SHE SERVED AS A LIQUIDATOR

Responding to the police's question about which of the 31 companies linked to the Polats she was connected to, B. N. G. said, "I had stated that I founded the BYZ Gün company in 2022. This company was transferred to someone else without engaging in any activity. I have no involvement in the financial affairs of the Tasf. Hal. FekPen. Plastik company. However, since a liquidator needed to be appointed for the company's liquidation proceedings, Sezgin Polat made a request to my father, Ahmet Gün.

Because my father is a lawyer and mentioned that there would be no problem with such a transaction, I served as the liquidator of the company as a formality. However, I do not remember when I served as the liquidator," she said.

QUESTIONED ABOUT FAKE INVOICES

Questions were asked about the fake invoices issued by the BYZ Gün Güzellik company to the Polats' companies. One of the questions concerned an invoice for 25 million 337 thousand 753 liras that was issued despite there being no actual purchase or sale of goods. B. N. G. responded to this question by saying, "I have no information about this matter."

B. N. G. and C. N. G., the daughters of Ahmet Gün, who is one of the key figures in the investigation, had been released.

APPEAL FILED AGAINST DETENTIONS

On the other hand, Sevinç Horoz, the lawyer for Dilan and Engin Polat, applied to the criminal judgeship of peace and appealed the detention of the Polat couple.

No evaluation has been made by the court regarding the appeal against the detention yet.
