11-vehicle pile-up in Esenyurt
Six people, two of them in serious condition, were injured in a 11-vehicle pile-up on the O-3 TEM connection road in Esenyurt, Istanbul.
A multi-vehicle pile-up occurred on the O-3 TEM connection road in Istanbul's Esenyurt district. It was reported that 11 vehicles were involved in the accident.
Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. According to initial reports, 6 people were injured, 2 of them seriously.
Traffic flow on the connection road was disrupted due to the accident, while teams continued their intervention and security work at the scene.
Efforts were carried out to remove the vehicles and reopen the road to traffic. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
