The lifeless body of 86-year-old Hatice Aydın, who had been reported missing, was found in a water well in the Salihli district of Manisa.

The incident was discovered around 16:00 in the Gökeyüp neighborhood. Citizens who saw a woman's body in a water well reported the situation to the gendarmerie.

Upon the report, AFAD, 112 Emergency Health, fire department, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. During the teams' investigation, it was determined that the lifeless body found in the approximately 5-meter-deep well belonged to Hatice Aydın, an Alzheimer's patient who had been sought as missing since yesterday.

Aydın's body was recovered from the well by fire department teams. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation to determine how the incident occurred.
