Alleged assault on architect in Sakarya caught on camera

In the Geyve district of Sakarya, it was alleged that the municipality's director of technical affairs and a surveyor assaulted an architect with whom they were arguing. The moment of the incident was captured by a security camera at a nearby business.

According to the allegations, a dispute occurred over the phone between architect B.Ü., who has an office in the district, and Geyve Municipality Director of Technical Affairs S.A. regarding a cadastral issue for a project. The parties later met at a business on Zafer Street in the Camikebir neighborhood to discuss the matter.

The argument that broke out there between B.Ü., S.A., and M.A., who is understood to be a surveyor, escalated quickly. It is alleged that M.A. pushed the architect as B.Ü. tried to get up from the table and walk away, and that B.Ü., who fell to the ground, was then assaulted by S.A. and M.A.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, which ended after bystanders intervened. It was learned that architect B.Ü. has filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office.
