The Regional Forecast and Warning Center of the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for cool and rainy weather for the inland and high-altitude areas of Muğla. According to the statement, air temperatures in the city are expected to drop significantly starting Wednesday, November 4.
Temperatures, which are currently hovering around or slightly above seasonal norms, are expected to remain below seasonal averages until the middle of next week. It was reported that the lowest temperatures in the city centers could drop to 2 degrees between November 4 and November 9, 2026.
It was stated that precipitation will generally occur as showers and occasional thunderstorms, while sleet and localized snowfall may be effective in high-altitude areas. Due to the drop in temperature, icing and frost events are expected in the higher parts of the inland areas.
The Meteorological Service also emphasized that there is a risk of localized agricultural frost in the inland and high-altitude areas of Muğla due to low air temperatures. Citizens and relevant parties have been asked to follow the weather forecast reports and early warnings to be issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology.
