In a building located on Barış Street in Alanya's Mahmutlar Neighborhood, an argument broke out between Timuçin Çilkin and his sister, Ayçin Çilkin, for reasons yet to be determined.
It was stated that as the argument quickly escalated into a fight, Timuçin Çilkin threw his sister from the balcony of the first-floor apartment. It was reported that Çilkin then shot himself with a handgun found in the home.
Upon reports from bystanders, health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were directed to the address. Ayçin Çilkin, who was injured after falling from the balcony, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial intervention at the scene.
Health personnel intervened to treat Timuçin Çilkin, who was found in the apartment with critical injuries, after fire department teams entered the balcony using a ladder truck basket.
Timuçin Çilkin, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all medical interventions. The gendarmerie has launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
